This service is recommended for shorter documents or documents that require a

As former students, we understand the importance of strong writing skills. We also realize that writing is not everyone’s fortay. We’re here to tell you that you don’t have to be a professional writer to sound like one! Our highly qualified team of editors will help you identify your strengths and weaknesses so that you get that “A” on your next paper. Our red pen revisions allow you to learn from your mistakes, so that you can strengthen your writing skills.

What we look for:

  • Proper punctuation, grammar and spelling — Are commas in the right place? How are sentences structured? Are there any spelling mistakes? Is the sentence in the write tense?
  • Word usage — Are words effective? Is there a better word to use?
  • Clarity in writing — Is the thesis clear? Are sentences brief and to the point? Do sentences flow?
  • Style — Do you adhere to the appropriate style guide? Is it consistent?
  • Comprehension — Does it make sense? Are paragraphs in logical order?
  • Effectiveness — Is it compelling? Does it grab the reader’s attention?

Please note: We do not write essays or complete assignments

Types of editing:

We offer different levels of editing based on your individual needs and budget. Once we’ve reviewed your document, we will give you our recommendation.

Light Edit
Fix-Up – grammar, spelling, punctuation
A fix-up edit is a quick read through by a professional writer/editor to catch mechanical problems such as spelling, grammar and punctuation errors.

Medium Edit
Sentence Repair – grammar, spelling, punctuation, style, word usage, flow and comprehension
In addition to spelling, grammar and punctuation, we also look for consistency in style and overall flow.

Heavy Edit
Sentence Overhaul – we fix everything. This includes a re-write if necessary. With a heavy edit, we guarantee that your project will be professionally written and error-free. And we will re-write it until you are satisfied.
The type of edit your project requires depends on many factors. When determining this, we consider your individual needs such as your audience, budget and desired outcome.
